The dichotomy of his environment, forced Mustafa to form his own philosophies on life. He believed a man should only eat what he killed. And Mustafa along with his notorious robbing crew had an appetite for drug-dealers and lowlifes. But when a routine robbery attracts unwanted attention from a superstar detective, Mustafa finds himself in a fight for his free will. But Mustafa is stuck in his ways and discovers that the straightest path is sometimes the hardest to follow.

About the Author
Raised in Atlanta, GA, Malik Salaam was born and raised Muslim. In a search for his place in the world, Salaam joined the Navy. His inability to conform got him kicked out. But not before he discovered his talent for writing. Back in Atlanta, Salaam frequented spoken word venues and shared his well-received work on stages across the country. Eventually, he was invited to perform on networks like BET, The Black Family Channel, and HBO. His work was published in newsprint and anthologies. He performed in and co-wrote plays. His documentary, Lost in The Rubble, won film festivals and earned him positions for Congressional panel discussions. Salaam wrote, directed, and produced a feature film, Every Scar and Dimple, and a web series, Eternal. Sunnah is his third self-published body of work. Malik Salaam's goal is to remembered as a master storyteller.
